THE INDUSTRIAL FUTURE OF CENTRAL ASIA OPENS IN TASHKENT

Tashkent, Uzbekistan – May 21, 2025

Today, at the Uzexpocentre, the international exhibitions Plast Central Asia and Mould Central Asia 2025 officially opened, forming a new strategic platform for industrial development in the region.

For the first time, two key sectoral exhibitions have come together under one roof to set a new direction for Central Asia's plastics processing, tooling, injection molding, and high-tech engineering industries.

On the very first day of the exhibition:
• Over 40 exhibitors showcased their technologies, equipment, and materials
• Solutions in plastics processing, molding, tooling, and automation were presented
• Hundreds of B2B meetings were held between international and local companies
• An expert session titled “The Future of the Plastics Industry: Innovation, Sustainability and Strategy” took place with participation from Russian and Uzbek experts

Among the exhibitors:
Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, Toshkent Plast Polimer, Uz-Kor Gas Chemical, Navoiazot, Meridian-A, Käfer Werkzeugbau, MHT, Borche, Sedir, Yizumi, ABM Anlagenbau and others

The opening ceremony was supported by industry leaders and key representatives of state industrial policy, including:
• Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan
• Representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan
• President of the German Tool and Die Association VDMA
• Delegations from leading international companies, including SIBUR, along with other high-ranking industry representatives

Among the honored guests:
• Ambassadors of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan
• Trade mission representatives from Russia and Iran

Plast & Mould Central Asia 2025 continues until May 23 and has already become a powerful launchpad for:
